Exploring the Gender Advocates Data Hub

Equal Measures 2030’s new tool – the SDG Gender Index – brings data to life to help tell the stories of progress for girls and women and measure the degree to which the world is on track to achieve gender equality by 2030.  Launched during the 2018 United Nations General Assembly, the EM2030 SDG Gender Index brings together a wealth of data, evidence and stories to amplify the voices of women and girls who are advocating and taking action toward gender equality.

The Index currently looks at data from 6 countries in the global south - Colombia, El Salvador, India, Indonesia, Kenya and Senegal, and gives a score for their progress on the Sustainable Development Goals that have direct relevance to gender equality.
